We hope you are delighted with your goods from
Khazana but if you wish to return any goods we aim to make it as quick and
convenient as possible. To ensure clarity for you as a buyer before and
after purchase we provide these general terms and conditions :
These Terms and Conditions cover the sale of Khazana furniture products
(goods) listed on the Khazana.co.uk website as a buyer you will be subject
to these terms and conditions. Please read through these Terms and Conditions
carefully before using the website. If you have any queries regarding the
following terms and conditions please e-mail your question(s) to
info@khazana.co.uk we will endeavor
to answer your query by the close of the next working day.
Payment
We will only facilitate collection or
delivery of goods once payment in full has been received and
cleared. We accept all major credit and debit cards including
Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Delta, American Express and personal
cheques with a valid guarantee card up to the value guaranteed
by the corresponding card.
Prices
We endeavor to ensure prices are
correct on both this website and in our stores. Prices on the
website are inclusive of VAT and do not include delivery charges.
These prices supersede any others issued via store or e-mail
or any other means of correspondence. All prices are correct
at time of going to press. We reserve the right to alter prices
up or down at any time.
Your Order
All furniture orders placed are
subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions.
All orders are subject to availability.
Delivery and Collection of Goods
If you have specified and paid for delivery
we will normally deliver your goods to within 21 days of purchase.
If you are unable to accept delivery of goods within 21 days of
purchase please make the store manager aware as soon as possible
as the immediately following condition applies :
We are happy to hold purchased goods for up to 21 days. If you require
us to hold purchased goods for more than 21 days this must be agreed
at the time of purchase evidenced by signed authorization from the
relevant Store Manager or Directors specifying both the time period
and end date that the goods will be stored before delivery.
Storing Furniture
Purchased items can be stored in
our warehouse for up to 21days prior to delivery/collection or
up to and including the date to which written authorization has
been obtained as outlined in Delivery and Collection of goods.
A Storage charge of £20 per week is applicable to the order for
goods commencing the first day after the time period relevant
to your purchase has expired.
Receiving Delivery or Collecting from The Store
All goods must be checked for damage
and signed for at point of delivery or collection and signature provided,
in signing the delivery or collection note you are accepting that the
goods delivered are in good condition and are not damaged. You are
responsible upon delivery or collection for verifying that you order
is correct and is suitable for your needs to include measurements,
dimensions, features, quantities, finishes and textures. Should no
one be present to receive the goods at the pre-arranged time,
an appropriate delivery fee will be charged for re-delivery
and the original delivery will be charged at the price quoted
at the time of ordering. We require 24 hours notice for the
cancellation of a pre-arranged delivery within the M25 and 48 hours
notice of cancellation of delivery outside the M25.
Our delivery team and drivers will deliver to the ground floor
and basement only unless otherwise specified at the time of
ordering. We do not hoist or winch goods through windows and
are not insured to do so our delivery team and drivers are
instructed to refuse any requests of this nature.
Estimated delivery dates are in no way binding on us and at
no point form a condition of sale or any contractual obligation with you.
Access and Space to Accommodate Furniture
It is your responsibility to ensure for goods
ordered that there is adequate access space to allow their unhindered
movement to the final destination space and that this space is
adequate to accommodate them. Khazana cannot be held responsible for
any damage caused to your property whilst attempting to deliver items
through awkward or tight spaces. Please ensure item[s] will fit
through doorways and tight spaces before ordering as we cannot
accept returns on this basis. Should we deliver goods and find they
will not fit into or through the property or be too large for
the destination space through lack of judgment or inaccurate
measuring, we can in no way be held responsible.

Use of Goods
Our products are intended for use
in a domestic private residence only therefore meet safety
standards and statutory requirements for domestic use only.
We in no way guarantee their suitability outside of this.
Specifically we do not provide any guarantees if they are
used in a commercial, public or contract environment.
Returns
We make every effort to ensure that
the goods supplied correspond as closely as possible to those
both in our stores and on our website. We do not accept responsibility
for variations in goods to those advertised or displayed.
There may be slight variation in the
goods supplied due to the handmade nature and natural materials used
in many of our goods. Please bear this in mind when measuring your
space and ordering your furniture. Due to the grain of the wood itself,
the rustic effect of some woods used in our goods and the handmade
nature of some goods, each piece is likely to be different or unique in
appearance, color, measurements, and finish. It is possible that final
dimensions may differ by up to 5cm from the sizes given. Consequently
we will not exchange items on a "like for like" basis purely on the
grounds of size or character of the wood. Should an item arrive faulty,
we will automatically offer a replacement.
We reserve the right to repair an item rather than replacing it. If you
wish to return your goods you must notify Khazana at your first opportunity
but no later than 14 days after receipt. We do not accept returns of
items after this 14 day period. Returned goods must be in a fully
resalable condition. Specifically this means being undamaged and
in the complete original, undamaged packaging. Goods must not
have been used in any way. Khazana retains the right to refuse to refund
any goods not deemed to be resalable. We do not facilitate a free returns
service. We do not refund the cost of return or the original delivery
charge for non faulty goods. We do not offer a free collection service
and we do not accept responsibility for any goods damaged or mislaid
in transit back to us. We do not refund damaged goods. Goods found to
be damaged on delivery will be replaced, replacement can be arranged
by contacting any store or via the enquiry facility on this website.
In some instances we may require the buyer to return the goods to
us so that it can be returned to the manufacturer and or checked before
replacement is issued. We do not accept returns of any damaged
items after collection.
In the Event of Refund
Collected Goods:
The goods must be returned to the site where they were purchased,
provided that the goods meet the conditions for returns
above, we will issue a full refund in the same form as
the original payment was made. If the refund is via electronic
payment please note that we will only refund the buyer onto
the card with which the purchase was made. As above please
note that we in no way are liable to pay transport or postage
costs for the return of collected goods.
Delivered Goods
Provided the goods meet the return
conditions outlined abovein Returns we will issue a full refund
in the same form the payment was made. If the refund is via
electronic payment please note that we will only refund the
buyer onto the card via which the purchase was made. Please note
Khazana does not refund initial delivery charges unless the
goods are returned due to damage or fault.
Liability
Our total liability in contract,
tort (to include negligence and or breach of statutory duty)
restitution or otherwise, arising from the performance or
contemplated performance of your order for goods will be
limited to the purchase price only.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
We reserve the right to revise and amend these terms and
conditions from time to time.
